The Society for Neuroscience is the largest organization of scientists and physicians in the world dedicated to understanding the brain and nervous system. It is a non-profit organization founded in 1969 with now almost 38,000 members in more than 90 countries and with 130 Chapters in the world.




Mexico City Chapter (CCDMX)

Welcome to the Mexico City Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience (SfN). The Chapter is dedicated to supporting the development and application of sound science in the field of Neuroscience, and serves neuroscientists not only in Mexico City but in the whole country. The chapter sponsors the Brain Awareness Week and some other specific activities to promote education about neuroscience. It serves as a connection for graduate students working in neuroscience and related disciplines to attend the annual meeting of the SfN. In addition to this, it facilitates local and regional collaboration for neuroscientists conducting research and students seeking careers in neuroscience.
